Target group: The advanced workshop is for you if you are already working on a project and have coded all or most of your data and now want to know how to continue, how to ask question and how to use all the tools ATLAS.ti provides to find answers to your questions, or how to use the network function.
 
Content: The base material for the course is the projects of the participants. Each participant will be asked to submit the HU, a project description and questions prior to the workshop. During the workshop, each person presents present his/her project and we answer questions along the way while looking at the various projects.

The course content thus is based on the needs and the kind of questions the participants have. Topics that usually come up are:
  • Data Management, especially project transfer and handling of team projects
  • Creation and use of Excel tables for data output and input
  • How to build an efficient Code System, methodological and technical issues
  • How to work with the memo function, methodological and technical issues
  • Working on the conceptual level: code families, super codes, networks
  • The Query Tool: how to ask questions and how to find answers
  • The Co-occurrence Explorer: purpose and handling
  • SPSS output: Reasons for creating such output, handling the output in SPSS
  • Other output options
  • Methodological issues like application of different analytical approaches (GT, Mayring) / typology building
 
Fee: Students: 416,50 EUR (350 EUR + VAT)
Educational institutions / non-profit organisations: 595,00 EUR (500 EUR + VAT)
Regular: 833,00 EUR (700 EUR + VAT)

Cancellation Policy:
  • Full refunds will only be issued for cancellations made in writing at least 15 days prior to the course.
  • Cancellations issued from 7 to 14 days prior to the course are entitled to a 50 percent refund; all later cancellations will be issued a 25 percent refund./li>
  • You are welcome to transfer your spot in the course to a colleague at any time and at NO additional fee. Please notify us of such changes and transfer all registration information to this person.
